From Rail Worker Jackets to Hawick cashmere explore PARA‑DAIZA’s commitment to UK-made menswear.
The Rail Worker Jacket is a staple at PARA‑DAIZA and a big part of our commitment to UK production. It’s cut and sewn in a small factory in the West of Scotland by a skilled team of just eight. We work closely with them on every detail.
The fabric is Orta denim herringbone, sourced from Turkey. But the jacket itself? Every pleat, stitch, and recycled button is sewn right here at home.
We’re not chasing volume. We’re building relationships.
Our heavyweight Cashmere Fisherman Knit is made in Hawick, Scotland’s knitwear capital. Generations of woolcraft live in that town and it shows.
Locals say the soft Borders water gave Hawick wool its signature feel. Whether it’s true or just good folklore, the quality holds up.
These knits are weighty but soft, understated but bold built to wear hard. Same goes for our cashmere scarves, made just down the road using traditional methods.
Minimal branding. Maximum warmth.
Our limited-edition Atelier Collection bomber jacket was developed in close collaboration with our trusted partner in Leeds.
Each season, we work with new cloths and mills—but always keep it local. This version is cut from 100% merino wool herringbone, woven by Abraham Moon & Sons—one of Britain’s oldest mills, based in the Yorkshire Dales. A little closer to home, we use the Sounsie tweed from Lovat Mill in Hawick, known globally as the Home of Tweed.
The bomber is a mainstay for us. Always in stock, always evolving. No loud logos. No flash. Just proper British fabric, expert construction, and a jacket built to outlast trends.
We’re now pround to be producing our bestselling Pinch Chino in the same West of Scotland factory that makes our Rail Worker Jacket.
It’s a big shift and a big step forward. Our new black version should be with us just before Christmas and marks our deeper commitment to working with skilled, small-scale partners here in Scotland.
The factory has just eight staff. Real people. Real relationships.
The Pinch. Made local. Built to last.
We’re not just making clothes, we’re building something better, something I believe in.
Working with British and Scottish makers means tighter quality control, shorter runs, and real purpose behind every piece. Less waste. More meaning.
This isn’t about chasing trends or scaling fast. It’s about getting it right on our terms, with people we trust.
Built with purpose.
