The Pinch Chino - Back in Black, Now Made in Scotland

If there’s one piece that defines PARA‑DAIZA from the start, it’s the Pinch Chino. Clean silhouette, relaxed attitude, sharp when it needs to be. And after a year of searching for the right cloth, it’s coming back better than ever  made local, cut from premium British fabric, and landing in two weeks.

From Yorkshire Cloth to West Scotland Craft

This new version marks a shift in production. We’ve moved the entire process to the west of Scotland a small team we trust, the same factory that makes our Rail Worker Jacket. It’s a big step for us. One we’ve taken slowly, but properly.

The cloth? A stretch cotton twill woven by Brisbane Moss in Yorkshire known for producing some of the finest durable cottons in the game. We’ve gone for a soft peach-finish handle with just the right amount of give, in a deep black that wears easy across all seasons.

The Cut

The fit hasn’t changed and that’s a good thing.

The Pinch Chino still leans into that 90s-inspired anti-fit. Plenty of room in the rise and thigh, a clean taper to the ankle, and our signature darted hem detail. It’s built around movement, structure, and understated style. Designed to wear turned up or down, dressed up or lived in.

A discreet PARA‑DAIZA badge sits on the inside leg nothing flashy, just a subtle mark of what we stand for.

Why It Matters

Moving production closer to home means shorter supply chains, tighter quality control, and better relationships with the people making our clothes. It also means we’re supporting Scottish manufacturing small-scale, honest work that deserves to thrive.

This new batch of Pinch Chinos is limited. No overstock, no seasonal churn. Just proper trousers made the right way.

See It First

We’ll be posting first looks on Instagram, and once they land in-store, you’ll be the first to know. For those who’ve been waiting on a re-stock this is it. For new customers this is the one to start with.

The Pinch Chino has been part of the PARA‑DAIZA story from day one. This next chapter just takes it closer to home in both production and purpose.

Come try it on in Stockbridge soon. Or keep an eye online they won’t hang around long.
