Product Description

A more refined alternative to our heavier Fisherman Knits, the Cotton Linen Mock Neck Knit combines traditional stitch work with a cleaner, more relaxed shape.

Knitted in a 7-gauge blend of 70% GOTS-certified organic cotton and 30% linen, it has a substantial 690g weight without the heaviness of a traditional wool knit. The cotton gives the garment structure and a soft handle, while the linen adds breathability and a naturally dry feel, making it particularly useful through the changing seasons.

The textured stitch work takes its influence from traditional gansey knitting and runs through the body, cuffs and waistband. We've kept the silhouette relaxed with a dropped shoulder, mock neck and a straight, loose hem rather than pulling the knit tightly into the waist.

A small split at the hem breaks up the textured waistband and helps the sweater sit naturally over trousers or chinos.

Substantial enough to wear as an outer layer in early autumn, but breathable enough to work through the warmer transitional months.
