Knitted in Hawick, Scotland, from 100% Geelong wool, our Shawl Collar Cardigan is a substantial piece of knitwear, using approximately 1.3kg of wool in a chunky, fully ribbed construction that gives the garment its distinctive texture, weight and structure.

The generous shawl collar takes its influence from traditional smoking jackets, giving the garment a distinctive silhouette while providing extra warmth around the neck. Finished with leather buttons, two practical front pockets and ribbed cuffs and hem, every detail feels purposeful.

Geelong is a particularly fine grade of lambswool, originally associated with the Geelong region of Australia. Known for its exceptionally soft handle, natural warmth and breathability, it gives the knit a lovely balance of comfort and structure without the coarser feel sometimes associated with traditional wool sweaters.

Despite its weight, the natural softness of Geelong wool makes it remarkably comfortable to wear. It has the presence of a jacket rather than a traditional cardigan — exactly the sort of piece you'd throw on over a shirt or T-shirt for lunch, without needing another layer.

The Forest colour deserves a mention too. A rich, deep bottle green with an almost opal-like quality, it reveals subtle blue undertones in changing light, shifting towards navy in lower light.
